The Parisian Bridal Shower  [See Our Love Paris Theme]

Paris, the City of Love, makes an unforgettable Bridal Shower theme.  It's history, haute couture fashion, aura of romance and a certain 'ooh la la' are irresistible.  Paris is also known as the 'City of Light' as it was the first city to be illuminated by gas street lighting in 1817 so you will often see old fashioned gas lamps used as emblems alongside the Eiffel Tower!

Colours associated with Paris are pink, black and white.  Pink is the colour of love but it's also the colour of the cherry blossom on the trees at the base of the Eiffel Tower and white and black are typical of Chanel's iconic logo and designs).  Hat boxes, handbags,  à la mode shopping bags, perfume boxes and bottles are great props to use in this theme.  Don't forget that fabrics can add a dash of panache too!  Try using stripes, dots, damask and toile de jouy to create some French flair.
